Job Description

Our client is currently seeking a qualified Senior Software Engineer to join their team in Charlotte, NC. The position starts as normal business hours (8 am–5 pm) and may shift to evenings during peak Windows 10‑to‑Windows 11 conversions. Hybrid work: 3 days in the office, 2 days remote.
Duties and Responsibilities- Participate in moderate to highly complex initiatives and projects associated with the technology domain, including installation, upgrades, and deployment efforts.
- Identify opportunities for service quality and availability improvements.
- Design, code, test, debug, and document for low to moderately complex projects associated with technology upgrades and deployments.
- Review and analyze technical assignments or challenges related to low‑ to medium‑risk deliverables, conducting research, evaluation, and selection of alternative technology domains.
- Present recommendations for resolving issues or escalating as needed to meet service level agreements.
- Exercise judgment while developing an understanding of the domain with regard to security and compliance requirements.
- Provide information to technology colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree.
Qualifications- Minimum 4+ years of software engineering experience, or equivalent experience, training, or education.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Strong experience developing complex, integrated, web‑based applications using the .NET Framework.
- Experience in C#, , ASP.NET, .NET Core, jQuery, Web services, Azure, and client scripts.
- Experience in XML, ASP.NET MVC, REST/Web API, and JSON.
- Experience with .NET Core web APIs.
- Hands‑on experience with React JS.
- TFS and Microsoft SQL Server experience.
- Clear understanding of OOP techniques and design principles.
- Ability to deploy applications in non‑production environments on Windows platforms.
- Experience with IIS application server.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Detail‑oriented, able to multitask.
- Self‑starter and team player.
$46.50 – $62.00 per hour, unless local minimum wage is higher.
