We are seeking a high-caliber Full Stack Python Developer with 8+ years of experience to design, develop, and scale applications from the ground up. This role is ideal for a senior developer who thrives on hands-on architecture and active coding rather than team management or maintenance support.
You will join a fast-paced environment in Charlotte, NC, requiring an onsite presence twice a week. As part of our vetting process, all qualified candidates must complete a comprehensive Glider coding assessment to demonstrate their technical proficiency.
Key Requirements & Core CompetenciesTo be successful in this role, you must demonstrate mastery across four core pillars:
Python, Django, Databricks, and React.
Core Python & Django: 8+ years of experience building scalable applications from the ground up. You should have advanced expertise in core Python scripting alongside frameworks like Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
Databricks Ecosystem:
Hands-on, working knowledge of the Azure Databricks environment is required. This includes PySpark, notebooks, repository integration, job workflows, delta lakes, and unity catalog.Frontend UI:
Strong exposure to JavaScript technologies, with a strong preference for ReactJS.Data & System Design:
Deep SQL Server/Oracle/PostgreSQL expertise with the ability to construct advanced data analytics queries, rationalize system architecture, and articulate complex design concepts.
Scripting & Big Data:
Python, SQL, Bash, PySpark, Apache SparkWeb & Frontend:
Django, Flask, FastAPI, ReactJS, Java ScriptCloud (Azure):
Azure Synapse, Azure Functions, Data Lake Storage Gen2, Event Grid, Hubs, Service Bus, Key Vault, Dev OpsDatabases & Storage: SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Delta Lake
Orchestration & BI:
Azure Data Factory, Databricks Workflows, Power BI
Desirable Experience
Prior experience or strong domain knowledge within the Financial Services sector, particularly focusing on Risk Management systems.
Familiarity with building and integrating custom dashboards using Power BI and REST APIs.

This position requires the successful completion of a Glider coding test. We are explicitly looking for individuals with strong foundational software engineering skills who can discuss architecture rationalization and system design fluidly.
