Position OverviewWe are seeking a high-caliber Senior UI Developer with v. HEAVY React and AG Grid expertise to join an elite Market Risk Technology team. In this highly visible role, you will be an integral part of building a brand-new, enterprise-tier market risk application from the ground up. The team is dedicated to engineering modern, scalable, and highly performant front-end solutions that directly support trading and risk management functions across the organization.
This is a premier opportunity for a pure front-end engineer who thrives on greenfield development and complex data visualization. While prior market risk, capital markets, or broader financial services experience is a strong plus,
the team is actively open to exceptional UI engineers from any domain background who possess masterful command of data-heavy grids.
Greenfield React Development: Design, develop, and maintain a modern front-end ecosystem for a brand-new market risk platform using advanced React features and modern JavaScript.
Complex Data Grid Architecture: Work extensively with AG Grid to build highly responsive, custom, and scalable grid-based interfaces capable of visualizing multi-dimensional risk matrices and real-time transaction flows.
Performance Optimization: Diagnose and optimize application performance, render cycles, and memory profiles to ensure a seamless, low-latency user experience across data-heavy dashboards.
Collaborative Engineering: Participate actively in front-end architecture discussions, define UI best practices, and collaborate closely with Product Owners, Backend Developers, and Technology Leadership.
Component Design: Author reusable, highly scalable component libraries and integrate backend services via REST APIs to translate raw financial data into clean, intuitive UI elements.
Mastery of React.js: Extensive, deep hands-on experience building enterprise-grade, single-page applications (SPAs) with standard component-based architecture.
Advanced AG Grid Capabilities: Proven track record utilizing AG Grid (Enterprise features preferred) to handle complex filtering, sorting, custom cell rendering, grouping, and massive live-streaming data sets.
Advanced JavaScript: Rock-solid foundation in modern vanilla JavaScript (ES6+), asynchronous programming, state management patterns, and front-end architecture.
Performance Engineering: Demonstrated ability to optimize high-volume, real-time dashboards to avoid lag or rendering bottlenecks under heavy analytical load.
Communication: Strong communication and technical articulation skills to collaborate smoothly with global technology partners and explain architectural trade-offs.
Problem-Solving: Proactive problem-solving agility with a focus on code quality, testability, and application stability in a fast-paced environment.
- Exposure to financial services, capital markets, institutional trading desks, or risk technology environments.
- Hands-on experience building real-time data streaming or high-throughput analytical web applications.
- Familiarity with modern front-end tooling, build pipelines, and testing frameworks (Webpack, Vite, Jest, etc.).
