Our client seeks an early‑career Data Engineer in Charlotte, NC, to build data‑driven solutions on the Quantexa platform for financial crime analytics, mainly Anti‑Money Laundering.
Key Skills and What You’ll DoAssociate Data Engineer (Python / Azure)
- Stakeholder Collaboration – Work with business stakeholders and product owners to clarify requirements, define acceptance criteria, and translate use cases into user stories and business rules.
- Data Analysis & Mapping – Analyze source systems and enterprise datasets to define data mappings, transformation logic, and data quality rules aligned with Quantexa standards.
- Pipeline Development – Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and transformations to support analytics, reporting, and investigative workflows.
- Quantexa Configuration – Configure and support end‑to‑end Quantexa solutions, including entity resolution, network modeling, scoring logic, validation, and UI components.
- Agile Delivery – Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and backlog refinement to ensure requirements are clearly understood.
- Documentation – Document data logic, mappings, and solution design.
- Data Quality Improvement – Identify inconsistencies or reliability risks and recommend improvements.
- Testing Support – Contribute to unit testing and validation of solutions.
- Technical Foundation – Apply working knowledge of Python or Java, relational data models, Azure, Databricks, Git, JIRA, Confluence.
