This is a six‑month contract‑to‑hire opportunity based in Charlotte, NC, with a hybrid schedule of four days onsite and one day remote. The role offers the chance to contribute to enterprise‑scale development and integration work while collaborating with cross‑functional Agile teams. HowYou Will Make An Impact
- Design, build, and enhance modern web applications using C#, .NET, and Blazor.
- Develop RESTful APIs and integration services that connect application, data, and business systems.
- Build and maintain ETL/ELT workflows across Snowflake, SQL Server, SSIS, and related data platforms.
- Create end‑to‑end technical solutions spanning front‑end applications, APIs, databases, and cloud services.
- Develop Azure‑based solutions using Azure Functions, Service Bus, Azure Dev Ops, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues, identify root causes, and optimize application and database performance.
- Lead code reviews, mentor other developers, and help drive adoption of engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and delivery partners in Agile Scrum/Kanban environments.
- Support modernization efforts, including use of AI‑assisted development tools where appropriate.
- 8+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong hands‑on experience with C#, .NET, and Blazor.
- Proven experience designing and developing REST APIs and integration services.
- Strong SQL skills, including query tuning, database design awareness, and performance optimization.
- Hands‑on experience with Azure services, especially Azure Functions, Azure Dev Ops, and Service Bus.
- Experience building or maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines using tools such as SSIS, Snowflake, or SQL Server.
- Ability to design solutions across application, API, integration, and data layers.
- Experience working in Agile Scrum or Kanban delivery environments.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem‑solving, ownership, and communication skills.
- Experience with event‑driven architecture, Azure Data Factory, Git Hub Copilot, or AI‑assisted development tools is a plus.
- Prior experience in enterprise‑scale application, integration, or distribution‑oriented environments is preferred.
