10 is currently seeking a Senior Android Developer - Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

As a senior developer, you will specialize in Android native test automation solutions using Kotlin and contribute to the full application life-cycle. This role involves developing automation scripts, testing, and releasing to the app store while working with product teams on new ideas, designs, and prototypes to continuously improve products, processes, and tools.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and prototype Android mobile applications for phones and tablets for internal and external use
• Collaborate with the design team to define app features
• Ensure quality and performance of the application to specifications
• Identify potential problems and resolve application bottlenecks
• Fix application bugs before the final release
• Publish application on the App Store
• Maintain the code and automation of the application

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
• 5-7 years of proven experience as an app developer
• 5+ years of experience in Android Development using Kotlin and/or Java
• Development experience in Core Java
• Experience writing automated tests using frameworks like Appium
• Proficient in Objective-C, Swift, and Swift UI
• Extensive knowledge of XCode
• Proficient in code versioning tools including Git and Bitbucket
• Knowledge of C-based libraries
• Familiarity with biometrics, push notifications, and usage of Camera APIs

Desired skills:

• Mobile Test Automation with Appium for Android and iOS platforms
• Experience with continuous integration and unit tests
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong focus on troubleshooting and issue resolution

Pay range: $55.06 - $63.06 per hour
