- 9+ years of AS400/iSeries-based application development, support and enhancement experience
- 6+ years COBOL & AS400/iSeries architecture using ILE (COBOL, RPGLE, CLLE, QS36) + IBM DB2 (SQL, SPs, query optimization, green screen) with deep legacy modernization expertise
- 5+ years’ experience in ILE modernization & AS400 performance optimization, including refactoring, tuning, and production stability
- 3+ years of strong experience with IBM Liberty (Web Sphere Liberty) & Web Sphere in hybrid legacy-modern architectures
- Advanced Unix/Linux proficiency (scripting, job control, cross-platform support)
- Expertise in IBM MQ (ILE MQ Series) & XML integration, including SSIS-based messaging workflows
- Proven ability to architect scalable, high-performance, mission-critical systems bridging legacy and modern platforms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to gather, refine, and convert business requirements into functional requirements and working production code
