We are seeking a Senior Python Web Developer with proven hands-on SDVI experience to join our team and work directly within our customers' squads in a fully remote, distributed model. The ideal candidate will bring real-world expertise in media supply chain environments and the ability to independently deliver results while elevating the technical capabilities of the existing team.
Responsibilities- Implement and operate SDVI solutions in a media supply chain environment
- Configure, troubleshoot and optimize SDVI workflows, especially on the ingest side
- Deliver results independently and elevate the technical capabilities of the existing squad
- Work side-by-side with the customer's squads in a fully remote, offshore or distributed team model
- Collaborate directly with client teams and adapt to their working style and timezone
- Take initiative to solve complex workflow challenges with minimal supervision
- Support custom ingest solutions and integration with SDVI
- Help grow the team's capacity to reduce overall workload
- 3+ years of experience in Python web development
- Proficiency in Python, Django, AWS and PostgreSQL
- Hands-on expertise in implementing and operating SDVI solutions in a media supply chain environment
- Understanding of media ingest, content processing and distribution workflows
- Capability to work hands-on keyboard to configure, troubleshoot and optimize SDVI workflows
- Skills in solving complex workflow challenges and getting stuff done with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to collaborate within a fully remote, offshore or distributed team model
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
- Subject matter expertise in broader media technology
- Familiarity with recent SDVI features such as AI-driven tools
