Service Now AI Engineer

Experience:
7+ years
- 5+ years of Service Now development experience, with at least 1–2 years in IRM/GRC modules.
- Service Now developer to design, implement, and optimize AI-powered experiences across the Service Now platform with a primary focus on Integrated Risk Management (IRM), Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), Business Continuity Management (BCM), Privacy, and Enterprise Risk.
- This role combines Service Now platform engineering, AI solution design, workflow automation, and governance to deliver secure, compliant, and intelligent employee experiences using Now Assist, AI Agents, Agentic Workflows, Generative AI, and platform-native automation.
- Configure and customize AI Agents and Agentic Workflows to automate governance and compliance activities.
- Build conversational experiences using Now Assist Panel and Virtual Agent.
- Develop workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and Flow Designer flows to support IRM processes.
- Work closely with architects and business analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Follow coding standards, platform best practices, and ensure maintainability of configurations.
- Hands-on experience with Service Now Studio, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and Scoped Applications.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, HTML, CSS, and REST/SOAP integrations.
- Strong understanding of IRM/GRC processes (policy lifecycle, control testing, risk assessments, audit workflows, vendor risk assessments).
- Service Now certifications preferred:
- Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- Certified Implementation Specialist – Risk and Compliance
- Build and configure Service Now IRM applications such as Policy and Compliance, Risk Management, Audit, and Vendor Risk.
- Develop workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and Flow Designer flows to support IRM processes.
- Implement integrations with external systems (e.g., ITSM, Security Operations, third-party GRC tools).
- Create reports, dashboards, and performance analytics indicators for compliance and risk monitoring.
- Work closely with architects and business analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Perform unit testing and support system/integration/UAT testing activities.
