10 is currently seeking a Senior Automation Test Engineer for a hybrid position with a major financial institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity.

This role focuses on automating test cases for post-trade back-office and trade flow processes within a Capital Markets environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience developing automation frameworks and scripts using Python or Java, coupled with strong SQL and a deep understanding of Fixed Income and Derivatives. You will be a key member of an agile team, responsible for ensuring the quality of complex data flows between various applications.

• Collaborate with development teams to review stories, vet new feature requirements, and estimate automation efforts
• Input test plans and scenarios into Xray and convert them into automated test scripts
• Perform impact assessments of all business requirements and any changes
• Maintain test artifacts including test plans, test cases, and automation scripts
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to CI/CD implementation, execution, and reporting

• 5-7 years of experience in application development or automation framework development using Python or Java
• Strong knowledge and coding experience in Python/Java to automate test cases for post-trade back office and trade flow
• Strong working knowledge of SQL to write complex queries
• 2+ years of working knowledge developing test automation scripts for post-trade Fixed Income Capital Markets data lineage
• Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks
• Prior experience working as a QE/SDET in agile/scrum teams
• Strong working knowledge of Fixed Income and Derivatives Back Office Testing and Capital Market experience
• Ability to understand complex data flows between various internal and external applications
• Demonstrated ability to identify and report risks and issues

Pay range: up to $61.58 per hour
