Role Overview

As a Salesforce Technical Architect for the Platform Team at Cabin, you will serve as a trusted technical leader and strategic advisor, playing a pivotal role in the architecture, strategy, and successful delivery of enterprise software solutions. Bridging the gap between complex business needs and robust technical implementations, you will lead the solution design across Salesforce multi-cloud platforms. In this high-impact role, you will drive technical excellence, establish platform governance, design enterprise integrations, and mentor engineering peers to bring strategic vision to life from discovery through execution.

Responsibilities
  • Architecture & Technical Strategy:
    Own the architecture and technical strategy of assigned platform solutions, ensuring Salesforce multi-cloud environments (Sales, Service, Experience, Data Cloud) are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with client business objectives.
  • Enterprise Systems Integration:
    Design and oversee integration architectures connecting Salesforce with back-end enterprise systems, data warehouses, and middleware (e.g., Mule Soft), employing REST/SOAP APIs, event-driven architecture, and large data volume strategies.
  • Stakeholder Communication & Alignment:
    Communicate directly with client stakeholders and executive leaders to translate complex business needs into clear, actionable technical solutions, architectural roadmaps, and requirements.
  • Governance & Quality Assurance:
    Define and enforce development standards, data governance, security protocols, and platform limit management, balancing short-term delivery goals with long-term technical health.
  • Dev Ops & Release Management:
    Establish and advocate for modern release practices, scratch org strategies, automated CI/CD pipelines, and version control tooling tailored to Salesforce (e.g., Salesforce DX, Copado, Gearset).
  • Cross-Functional Leadership:
    Represent platform engineering in cross-functional discussions with product strategists, experience designers, and client leadership, advocating for technical capabilities and strategic alignment.
  • Risk Management & Design Reviews:
    Proactively identify architectural risks, surface platform blockers, and conduct thorough technical design and code reviews to maintain quality, security, and scalability across deliverables.
