We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack .NET Developer with AI/Generative AI expertise to build next-generation intelligent applications for enterprise and financial services clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in modern .NET development, front-end frameworks, cloud-native architectures, and AI technologies including Azure OpenAI, LLMs, RAG, and AI-powered application development. This role offers the opportunity to design and deliver innovative solutions that combine traditional software engineering with cutting-edge Generative AI capabilities.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $110K - $115K/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using C#, .NET Core/.NET 8, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, Angular, and React.
• Develop AI-powered enterprise applications leveraging Azure OpenAI, OpenAI APIs, and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Build and integrate Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions using vector databases and enterprise knowledge repositories.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures to support AI-enabled applications.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and product owners to translate business requirements into AI-driven technical solutions.
• Develop intelligent chatbots, virtual assistants, document processing, and workflow automation solutions.
• Integrate AI services with enterprise platforms and business applications while ensuring security and compliance.
• Implement prompt engineering, model evaluation, guardrails, and responsible AI practices.
• Build responsive and intuitive user interfaces using Angular, React, Type Script, HTML5, CSS3, and modern UI frameworks.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, observability, and reliability across cloud environments.
• Partner with Dev Ops teams to establish CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment strategies.
• Stay updated with emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices to drive innovation across projects.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in Full Stack .NET application development.
• Strong expertise in C#, .NET Core/.NET 8, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web API, Entity Framework, and Microservices architecture.
• Experience integrating and consuming Generative AI services, including Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, Claude, or similar LLM platforms.
• Strong understanding of Prompt Engineering, RAG, Vector Databases, Semantic Search, and AI application patterns.
• Experience with AI orchestration frameworks such as Lang Chain, Lang Graph, Semantic Kernel, or Llama Index.
• Proficiency in SQL Server, database design, query optimization, and data modeling.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure, including Azure AI Services and Azure OpenAI.
• Experience building and deploying containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Azure Dev Ops, Git Hub Actions, or Jenkins.
