Business Process Management Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Appian Developer with L2 to join our technology team in Charlotte, NC. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting enterprise applications using the Appian low-code platform.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Appian SAIL, Process Models, Records, Data Fabric, Integrations, Web APIs, expression rules, interfaces, and application deployment
. Experience working in Agile environments and financial services or banking projects is highly desirable.

• Design, develop, configure, test, and deploy applications using the Appian platform.
• Develop complex SAIL interfaces, expression rules, process models, record types, reports, and sites
  .
• Build scalable applications following Appian best practices and design standards.
• Develop and maintain Appian integrations using REST/SOAP web services and Web APIs.
• Work with relational databases and write optimized SQL queries
  .
• Design and implement Appian Records, Data Stores, Data Types, and Data Fabric solutions.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Participate in requirements analysis, technical design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Troubleshoot application issues, identify root causes, and implement permanent fixes.
• Perform application performance tuning and follow Appian performance best practices.
• Implement security using groups, roles, permissions, authentication, and authorization
  .
• Work with Dev Ops teams to support application deployments through CI/CD pipelines
  .
• Use source-control and deployment tools such as Git, Jenkins, Azure Dev Ops, or similar platforms
  .
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, demos, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, QA engineers, Product Owners, and other developers.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure development follows Appian coding and design standards.
• Prepare technical documentation and support application release activities.
• Provide production support and participate in incident/problem management.

• 5+ years of hands-on Appian development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Appian SAIL

• Strong experience with Process Models and Process Modeling
  .
• Experience developing Appian Records and Record Types
  .
• Experience with Expression Rules, Interfaces, Constants, Decisions, and Query Rules
  .
• Experience with Appian integrations and Web APIs
  .
• Strong understanding of REST/SOAP APIs
  .
• Strong SQL and relational database experience.
• Knowledge of Appian security, groups, roles, and permissions.
• Experience with application deployment and release management.
• Experience working with Git and/or Dev Ops/CI/CD tools.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Appian Level 2 Certification (L2) strongly preferred.

• Appian L2 Certified Developer.
• Experience with Appian Connected Systems.
• Experience with CI/CD and automated deployment.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
