Senior Full Stack Java Developer - Hybrid

10 is currently seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Developer for a hybrid position (3 days onsite required) with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role supports a policy governance platform that is experiencing significant user growth. The ideal candidate will be a full-stack developer with a focus on the Angular front-end, REST APIs, and a SQL database to support multiple parallel initiatives on the application.

Responsibilities:

• Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering
• Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges
• Contribute to the resolution of complex situations requiring a solid understanding of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
• Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel

Requirements:

• 8 years of hands-on experience in Java application development using Java, Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, XML, JSON, RESTful APIs, JDBC, JPA, and Unit Testing frameworks
• 6 years of experience developing responsive and scalable user interfaces using Angular
• 3 years of experience in SQL Server database development, including query optimization, stored procedures, and data modeling
• Strong understanding of J2EE architecture, object-oriented design principles, and industry-standard design patterns
• Proven experience designing, developing, and supporting microservices-based applications
• Experience implementing and supporting Dev Sec Ops  practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum software development methodologies
• Proficiency with JIRA and Confluence for project tracking, documentation, and team collaboration
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively across development, QA, product, and operations teams

Desired skills:

• Experience with Kubernetes/OCP
• 1 year of experience leveraging Git Hub Copilot or other AI-assisted development tools
• Knowledge of application monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, App Dynamics, Splunk, or Grafana

Pay range: $59.53 - $67.53 per hour
