Java Software Engineer

Akkodis is seeking Java Developer for a Contract job with a client inthe Charlotte, NC area. As a Java Developer you will bring strong expertise in Java 21, Spring Boot, and Angular to join a high-performing development team. The ideal candidate will possess deep full stack development experience, strong backend engineering skills, and the ability to build scalable enterprise applications.

Candidates with exposure to AI technologies such as Agentic AI, Lang Graph, or Lang Chain are highly preferred but not required.

Rate Range: $58/hour to $64/hour (W2);
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable full stack applications using Java 21, Spring Boot, and Angular
  .
• Build and support RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed applications in an enterprise environment.
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, architects, and development teams to define technical solutions and deliver high-quality software.
• Develop responsive and user-friendly front-end components using Angular and modern web development best practices.
• Design and optimize database solutions, write complex SQL queries
  , and troubleshoot performance issues.
• Implement and support ETL processes for data integration and transformation requirements.
• Develop highly performant and reliable applications utilizing multithreading and concurrent programming principles.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and CI/CD deployment activities.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues while ensuring system stability and performance.
• Contribute to application architecture discussions and recommend improvements to scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Work within an Agile/Scrum environment and actively participate in sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.

• Strong hands-on experience with Java 21
• Strong frontend development skills with Angular
• Experience with SQL and database development
• Understanding of ETL processes
• Experience with Multithreading and concurrent programming
• Full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

• Experience with Agentic AI frameworks
• Knowledge of Lang Graph
• Knowledge of Lang Chain
• Experience building AI-enabled enterprise applications
