The Senior Full Stack Python and Java Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Charlotte, NC. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining end-to-end web applications using Python and Java across both front-end and back-end layers. Responsibilities include building scalable APIs and microservices, implementing responsive user interfaces, integrating with databases and cloud services, and ensuring code quality through testing and code reviews.

The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in architectural discussions, optimize application performance, and contribute to technical documentation and best practices. The role also includes mentoring team members, supporting production deployments, and continuously improving the development lifecycle and tooling.

• Strong back-end web development skills, including experience with Python and Java frameworks, API design, and database integration.
• Front-end development skills with proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for building responsive interfaces.
• Expertise in software development and full-stack development, including design patterns, testing practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and Dev Ops practices such as containerization and infrastructure-as-code.
• Solid understanding of system architecture, microservices, security best practices, and performance optimization.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Prior experience in enterprise-scale or high-traffic applications; exposure to AI, data engineering, or automation is a plus.
