10 is currently seeking a QA Automation Engineer for a contract position with a Major Financial Services Firm located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience testing web-based applications and a strong background in building comprehensive automated frameworks from scratch. This role involves using modern testing frameworks like Playwright and Cypress, working with technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, JSON, and REST, and collaborating within an agile enterprise environment.

Responsibilities:

• Build comprehensive automated testing frameworks from scratch
• Test web applications that are accessed on multiple platforms, including mobile and desktops
• Analyze automated test results and metrics to perform root cause failure analysis
• Write and execute detailed test cases that exercise all aspects of the system under test
• Work within an enterprise environment using agile software development methodologies

Requirements:

• Experience testing web-based applications with technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, responsive design, JSON, and REST
• Strong background in QA methodologies and best practices
• Deep experience with modern automated testing frameworks and platforms such as Playwright and Cypress
• Deep experience developing in at least one front-end language (e.g. JavaScript or Type Script) and at least one statically typed language (e.g. Java )
• Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) tools (e.g. Github Actions)
• Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JS, responsive design, etc.)

Pay range: $52.43 - $62.43 per hour
