AWS Serverless Engineer

Insight Global is seeking an AWS Serverless Engineer for a leading telecommunications client supporting a large-scale merger integration initiative. This candidate will be responsible for developing cloud-native solutions using AWS Lambda, Python, and CDK while helping integrate newly acquired systems and data sources into existing enterprise platforms. The ideal candidate has a strong serverless background, enjoys solving complex integration challenges, and thrives in a collaborative Agile environment where they can make an immediate impact on high-visibility business initiatives.

Day-to-Day:

• Design, develop, and maintain AWS serverless applications using Lambda and Python
• Build and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS CDK
• Support integration of new systems, applications, and data sources resulting from merger activities
• Create and optimize cloud-native solutions for scalability and reliability
• Develop and support ETL and data processing workflows where required
• Collaborate with technical leads, product owners, and business stakeholders
• Participate in sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement sessions
• Troubleshoot production issues and support application deployments
• Contribute to architecture discussions and cloud best practice recommendations
