Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering and contribute to large-scale planning related to Software Engineering deliverables. Review and analyze moderately complex Software Engineering challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Software Engineering deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

Collaborate with client personnel in Software Engineering.

Required Qualifications:

4 years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, or education. Primary Skills ETL Development PySpark, Python Oracle Database Ab Initio

Key Responsibilities Maintain, support, and enhance existing ETL applications and data integration workflows. Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution of incidents. Analyze, design, develop, test, and deploy ETL solutions using Ab Initio, PySpark, and Python. Lead and execute the migration of ETL jobs and data pipelines from Ab Initio to PySpark. Work closely with business and technology stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

Leverage AI-assisted development tools to support code generation, refactoring, testing, documentation, and migration activities.

Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. 4+ years of experience in ETL development and data integration. Strong hands-on experience with Ab Initio or PySpark, Python, and Oracle Database. Experience supporting and maintaining enterprise-scale data processing applications.

Experience with production support, incident management, and root cause analysis. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with cloud-based data platforms and modern data engineering practices. Knowledge of Dev Ops, CI/CD, version control, and automated testing methodologies. Experience using AI-assisted development tools, such as Git Hub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, or similar, to improve development productivity, accelerate migrations, and enhance code quality. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Proven experience migrating ETL jobs from legacy platforms to modern data processing frameworks.
