Senior AI​/ML Engineer - Hybrid

10 is currently seeking a Senior AI/ML Engineer for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity.

This role focuses on product ionizing Data Science, Generative AI, and Predictive AI solutions within an enterprise technology data engineering organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for integrating Python-based models and use cases into enterprise applications and deploying them into production environments using modern cloud and container platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Deploy and operationalize Data Science, Machine Learning, Generative AI, and Predictive AI solutions
• Integrate Python-based Data Science solutions into enterprise applications
• Build enterprise applications and APIs using technologies like FastAPI and REST
• Develop and maintain data pipelines using ETL/ELT processes with tools such as Spark/Py Spark
• Manage containerized deployments on platforms like Open Shift or Kubernetes
• Ensure adherence to software engineering best practices, including CI/CD, monitoring, and production support
• Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering

Requirements:

• 7+ years of relevant experience in software engineering, data engineering, cloud engineering, or AI/ML engineering
• Strong Python development experience
• Experience building enterprise applications and REST APIs (FastAPI, Pydantic)
• Experience deploying and operationalizing Data Science, Machine Learning, Generative AI, or Predictive AI solutions (Azure OpenAI, Lang Chain/Lang Graph, RAG patterns)
• Proficiency in data engineering with SQL, Oracle, and ETL/ELT processes (Spark/PySpark)
• Experience with data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, One Lake, and Data Warehouse/Lakehouse concepts
• Experience working in cloud-based environments (Azure) and with containerized deployment platforms (Docker, Open Shift)
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Azure Dev Ops/Git Hub Actions), monitoring, and production support best practices

Desired skills:

• Experience supporting HR, HRIT, Workforce Analytics, or HR Data Science initiatives
• Experience supporting AI solutions in highly regulated environments
• Knowledge of C# / .NET development
• Familiarity with frameworks such as Flask, Django, React, or Gradio
• Experience with Databricks, Neo4j, Semantic Kernel, MLflow, Kubernetes, Snowflake, or Elasticsearch

Pay range: $59.53 - $67.53 per hour
