Senior Fullstack Developer

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Senior Java Full Stack Developer.

Location:

Charlotte, NC - 3 days Hybrid on-site role

• Define technical architecture and roadmap for enterprise application modernization initiatives.
• Drive microservices design, REST API development, database strategy, and application performance optimization.
• Establish and enforce coding standards, engineering best practices, and AI-assisted development methodologies.
• Partner with business stakeholders, architects, and product owners to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Technical decision-making, risk assessments, and solution governance across multiple development teams.
• Support Agile delivery processes including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and production support activities.
• Ensure applications meet security, compliance, scalability, and maintainability requirements within the banking environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions supporting Governance, Risk, and Compliance transformation initiatives.

• Hands-on Java enterprise application development.
• Experience building modern full-stack applications using React 18 and Java, with strong expertise in application architecture and design patterns.
• Proven experience leading large-scale application modernization and digital transformation initiatives within enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in microservices architecture, RESTful API development, SQL Server, performance tuning, and scalable application design.
• Hands-on experience with Python and the ability to contribute across the full application stack.
• Experience with cloud-native technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, or GCP, along with CI/CD pipeline implementation.
• Working knowledge of Kafka or other event-driven messaging frameworks.
• Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools such as Git Hub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, or similar technologies to improve engineering productivity.
• Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring engineers, conducting code reviews, defining technical standards, and driving engineering best practices.
• Ability to collaborate with architects, product owners, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
• Prior experience within financial services, banking, governance, risk, or compliance domains is highly preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with availability to be onsite in Charlotte, NC three days per week.

Pay Range*: $50- $55 per hour
* Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
