10 is currently seeking a Senior AI/Python Engineer for a hybrid position (3 days per week onsite) with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity.

This position sits within a Data Engineering organization and focuses on product ionizing Data Science, Generative AI, and Predictive AI solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for integrating Python-based models and use cases into enterprise applications and deploying them into production environments using modern cloud and container platforms. This role requires a strong combination of Python development, AI engineering, data engineering, and cloud deployment experience.

• Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering
• Integrate Data Science, Generative AI, and Predictive AI solutions into enterprise applications
• Deploy solutions into production environments using modern cloud and container platforms
• Review and analyze complex, multi-faceted, larger-scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges
• Contribute to the resolution of complex situations requiring a solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
• Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel

• 7+ years of relevant experience in software engineering, data engineering, cloud engineering, or AI/ML engineering
• Strong Python development experience
• Experience deploying and operationalizing Data Science, Machine Learning, Generative AI, or Predictive AI solutions
• Experience building enterprise applications and APIs (FastAPI, REST APIs, JSON, Pydantic)
• Experience working in cloud-based environments (Azure)
• Experience with containerized deployment platforms such as Open Shift or Kubernetes
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, CI/CD, monitoring, and production support
• Data Engineering skills including SQL, Oracle, ETL/ELT, and Spark/Py Spark
• Experience with data platforms like Microsoft Fabric and Lakehouse concepts
• Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks like Azure OpenAI, Lang Chain/Lang Graph, and RAG patterns
• Knowledge of security and governance practices (Key Vault, OAuth, Secrets Management)

$59.53 - $67.53 per hour
