Our client, a leading organization in the Human Resources and technology sector, is seeking a Workday Advanced Compensation Technical Developer / Engineer (Software Engineer 4 - Contingent) to join their dynamic team. As a Workday Advanced Compensation Technical Developer / Engineer (Software Engineer 4 - Contingent), you will be an integral part of the HRIT department supporting Compensation product initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, collaborative spirit, and a proactive approach, aligning seamlessly with the organization’s innovative culture.
Job Title: Workday Advanced Compensation Technical Developer / Engineer
Location: Charlotte, NC or Minneapolis, MN (On-site 3 days a week)
What's the Job?
- Lead the development and implementation of advanced compensation solutions within Workday, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance standards.
- Support and enhance Workday integrations, including Studio and BIRT reporting, to streamline compensation processes and improve data accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, code, test, and debug technical solutions that address complex compensation challenges.
- Participate in large-scale planning and strategy sessions to support system upgrades, deployments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Act as a technical escalation point, providing guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members while fostering a collaborative environment.
What's Needed?
- Minimum of 2 years of Workday development experience in the advanced compensation functional area.
- Proficiency in Workday Studio, BIRT reporting, and integrations such as EIBs and Core Connectors.
- Strong technical skills in building solutions that tie together complex compensation processes.
- Experience with Workday extend development and a solid understanding of HR systems and data management tools.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
