Software Engineer, Full Stack Developer, Backend Developer

10 is currently seeking a Software Engineer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 24+ month contract opportunity.

This role will join the Enterprise Data – Credit Services Technology team, supporting Consumer Bureau Management initiatives. The position will play a critical part in building and enhancing scalable data-driven applications within the credit services domain, utilizing a full stack of technologies including Java, Angular, and Oracle.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications with a focus on scalability and performance
• Build robust Java-based backend services and APIs
• Develop responsive and user-friendly Angular front-end applications
• Work with Oracle databases and Ab Initio for data processing and integration
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, data, and business stakeholders
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes
• Contribute to architecture discussions and continuous improvement of development practices

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering
• Strong Java backend development experience
• Hands-on experience with Angular (front-end development)
• Proven experience as a full-stack developer
• Experience working with Oracle databases
• Experience with Ab Initio (a plus)
• Strong understanding of SDLC, APIs, and modern development frameworks

Desired skills:

• Experience with in financial services, specifically credit services or consumer data platforms
• Familiarity with enterprise data environments and large-scale systems
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Pay range: $43.59 - $51.59 per hour
