Position: Senior ServiceNow Developer – HRSD, ITSM and Integrations 3645220

Join an enterprise technology team responsible for developing scalable Service Now applications, workflows, and integrations that improve how employees and business teams access essential services. This role will contribute to automation and platform-enhancement initiatives across Human Resources Service Delivery, IT Service Management, and other enterprise functions.

The team operates in a collaborative Agile environment and partners closely with business analysts, architects, application teams, and functional stakeholders. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Service Now developer who enjoys solving complex problems, building reusable platform solutions, and improving operational efficiency through automation.

What's In Store For You

This is a hybrid opportunity based in Charlotte, North Carolina, with four days per week onsite and one remote day. The developer will have significant hands-on ownership of custom applications, workflow automation, Service Catalog capabilities, and enterprise integrations.

The role provides exposure to high-impact HRSD and ITSM initiatives, modern integration technologies, and emerging Service Now capabilities such as intelligent workflows and virtual-agent solutions.

How You Will Make An Impact
  • Design, develop, and support custom applications and modules within the Service Now platform.
  • Build Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions, and Flow Designer workflows.
  • Develop Service Catalog items, Record Producers, and automated fulfillment processes.
  • Create and maintain integrations between Service Now and enterprise systems using REST APIs, SOAP services, Integration Hub, and MID Servers.
  • Develop HRSD and ITSM solutions that automate business processes and improve the employee and user experience.
  • Design workflow automation that reduces manual effort and increases operational efficiency.
  • Translate functional and technical requirements into scalable Service Now solutions.
  • Troubleshoot complex application, scripting, workflow, and integration issues.
  • Participate in code reviews and promote maintainable development standards.
  • Support Agile delivery teams through design, development, testing, deployment, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
  • Contribute to platform enhancements involving Employee Center, Service Portal, Dev Ops, or intelligent automation when applicable.
Do You Bring Proven Success in Service Now Application Development?
  • Five or more years of hands-on Service Now development experience.
  • Experience developing Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions, and Flow Designer solutions.
  • Experience designing and developing custom Service Now applications and modules.
  • Hands-on experience building REST and SOAP integrations.
  • Experience using Service Now Integration Hub and MID Server technologies.
  • Working knowledge of HRSD and ITSM processes.
  • Experience developing Service Catalog items, Record Producers, and automated fulfillment workflows.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and technical-documentation capabilities.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with business analysts, architects, developers, and functional stakeholders.
  • Service Now Certified Application Developer is preferred.
  • Experience with Employee Center, Service Portal, Git, Dev Ops pipelines, or AI-powered Service Now capabilities is preferred.
