We are looking for a skilled Backend Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain reliable, scalable, and secure server-side applications. The ideal candidate should have strong programming fundamentals, experience with APIs and databases, and the ability to work closely with frontend developers and other teams.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications and services.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend systems.
- Develop efficient and scalable database structures and queries.
- Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
- Implement authentication, authorization, security, and data protection.
- Troubleshoot bugs, optimize application performance, and improve system reliability.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, Dev Ops engineers, QA teams, and product managers.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical decisions.
- Monitor and improve application performance and scalability.
- Strong hands-on experience developing enterprise applications using Java.
- Strong hands-on experience with React, with specific experience in React 18 strongly preferred/required.
- Strong JavaScript development experience.
- Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles, object-oriented programming, and application architecture.
- Experience working with SQL Server and relational databases.
- Experience with modern software development, testing, debugging, and deployment practices.
- Ability to read and thoroughly understand technical requirements and existing codebases.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with aggressive delivery timelines.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of microservices and distributed systems.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Understanding of application security and performance optimization.

PostgreSQL / MySQL / MongoDB / Redis - APIs: REST / GraphQL
