Summary
Anaconda is seeking a talented Web Developer to join the Digital Marketing team. This role owns the technical implementation and optimization of our web properties, collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Creative to deliver compelling digital experiences that showcase the power of Anaconda’s offerings.
Responsibilities- Lead Technical Infrastructure & Architecture:
Take ownership of our Word Press ecosystem running on Kubernetes/EKS infrastructure, ensuring web properties remain performant, secure, and scalable while managing the full lifecycle from development through production deployment. - Build Backend Systems & Integrations:
Design and implement robust backend solutions that power dynamic content, personalization, and search capabilities, creating APIs and data pipelines that connect our web properties with various marketing and analytics platforms. - Drive Site Reliability & Performance Champion:
Champion best practices in deployment automation, monitoring, and incident response, proactively identifying opportunities to improve site performance, security posture, and overall technical health of our web ecosystem. - Enable Marketing Innovation Partner:
Partner with marketing and creative teams to translate ambitious ideas into technical reality, balancing rapid iteration with long-term maintainability while mentoring other developers and contributing to our technical roadmap.
- 3+ years of experience in full-stack web development with a focus on back-end technologies.
- Proficiency in server-side languages such as PHP, Python, or Node.js.
- Deep understanding of Word Press and modern web development – Word Press theme development, plugin architecture, and content management workflows.
- Working knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and responsive design principles.
- Experience with AWS services, specifically EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) and container orchestration.
- Understanding of web security best practices, performance optimization techniques, and accessibility standards.
- Experience using Jira to manage work.
- Excel at translating business needs into technical solutions, communicating effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Caring deeply about fostering an environment where people of all backgrounds and experiences can flourish.
- Exposure to data engineering concepts and real-time data processing.
- Experience with Elementor.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes operators.
- Experience using AI Agents and GenAI.
