• Engagement: W2 only (no C2C/1099)
• Hybrid opportunity based in Jersey City, New Jersey.
• Work on a strategic enterprise data platform being developed within an Azure cloud environment.
• Contribute to a highly visible digital transformation initiative supporting capital markets and securities businesses.
• Collaborate with distributed engineering and data teams across the U.S. and internationally.
• Long-term contract engagement supporting an enterprise modernization program.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Develop intuitive, responsive user interfaces for enterprise data applications.
• Build reusable front-end components and application features primarily using React and JavaScript.
• Support development of a strategic data-services interface beginning with securities reference and pricing data.
• Integrate front-end applications with RESTful services and API endpoints.
• Work with JSON, XML, SQL, and backend data services to deliver information effectively through the user interface.
• Improve usability, interaction design, and overall user experience across web-based applications.
• Troubleshoot application issues, resolve defects, and enhance existing functionality.
• Partner closely with software engineers, data teams, product stakeholders, and other technology groups.
• Follow enterprise development standards while contributing to a large-scale Azure-based data platform.

Do You Bring Proven Success in Senior Front-End Application Development?

• 10+ years of relevant software development experience is preferred.
• Strong hands-on expertise with React and modern front-end application development.
• Advanced experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience integrating applications with RESTful APIs and API endpoints.
• Working knowledge of JSON, XML, and SQL.
• Experience designing and developing user-friendly web application interfaces.
• Ability to translate business and technical requirements into effective interactive application features.
• Experience troubleshooting defects and enhancing production applications.
• Familiarity with Angular or related JavaScript frameworks is beneficial.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work successfully with distributed development and stakeholder teams.
