Full Stack Engineer

One of the country's largest financial institutions is searching for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join their technology and data team onsite in Charlotte, NC
. In this role, you will serve as a key contributor building and scaling enterprise-grade applications across a modern, full-stack environment. You'll work across .NET backend services,
Angular front-end components,
JBPM workflows, and Spark
-based data pipelines, while partnering closely with both domestic and offshore teams. This is a high-impact opportunity for an engineer who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced setting and is passionate about delivering high-quality, cloud-native solutions at scale.

This exciting opportunity to work with a leading enterprise engineering team begins as an 18-month W2 contract based onsite 5 days per week at the Charlotte, NC offering competitive benefits and the potential to extend or convert to permanent employment.

• Consult on complex, large-scale software engineering initiatives and contribute to long-term strategic planning
• Analyze multifaceted engineering challenges and drive resolution in alignment with functional policies, compliance requirements, and delivery goals
• Build and maintain scalable backend APIs and services using C#/.NET 6/7+, ASP.NET Core, EF Core, and JBPM workflows
• Develop performant, modular Angular (13+) UI components leveraging Type Script, RxJS, and component-based architecture
• Design, enhance, and optimize Spark ETL/ELT pipelines including data transformations, quality rules, and performance tuning
• Write high-coverage unit tests using xUnit/NUnit for backend and Jasmine/Karma for Angular with minimal supervision
• Author test scripts using Playwright and iCEDQ, and manage test cases within Octane
• Containerize applications and manage deployments on Open Shift (OCP), including build configs, routing, and scaling strategies
• Apply Kubernetes concepts including pods, deployments, services, config maps, secrets, and horizontal scaling
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Azure Dev Ops and Git Hub Actions with YAML-based configurations and quality gates
• Optimize SQL queries, database structures, and ETL load patterns for performance and long-term reliability
• Strategically collaborate across teams and groups, including coordination with offshore team members

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, or an equivalent combination of professional, consulting, military, or educational experience
• Proficiency with MS SQL Server, Spark, and Spark-SQL for data pipeline development and query optimization
• Strong backend development experience with .NET 6/7+, ASP.NET Core, EF Core, and RESTful API design
• Hands-on experience with Angular 13+, Type Script, and Jasmine/Karma for front-end development
• Familiarity with JBPM or similar workflow/BPM tooling
• Experience with Dev Ops tooling including Azure Dev Ops, Git Hub Actions, Docker, Open Shift (OCP), Kubernetes, and YAML deployments
• Testing experience with xUnit, NUnit, Playwright, iCEDQ, and Octane
• Solid understanding of software architecture patterns including SOLID principles, Mediator, Dependency Injection, Repository Pattern, and microservices or modular monolith design
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders
