Software Engineer - Full Stack Java; Angular UI Focused

Contract Duration: 12 Months

• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
• 8 years Java Engineering
• 6 years Angular UI Engineering
• 3 years of REST or SQL Engineering (ideally both)
• Kubernetes/OCP
• 8+ years of hands‑on experience in Java application development using Java, Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, XML, JSON, RESTful APIs, JDBC, JPA, and Unit Testing frameworks.
• 6+ years of experience developing responsive and scalable user interfaces using Angular.
• 3+ years of experience in SQL Server database development, including query optimization, stored procedures, and data modeling.
• Strong understanding of J2EE architecture, object‑oriented design principles, and industry‑standard design patterns.
• Proven experience designing, developing, and supporting microservices‑based applications.
• Experience implementing and supporting Dev Sec Ops  practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum software development methodologies.
• Proficiency with JIRA and Confluence for project tracking, documentation, and team collaboration.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across development, QA, product, and operations teams.

• AI development (Copilot, Devin)
• 1+ year of experience leveraging Git Hub Copilot, Git Hub Copilot Agent, Devin, or other AI‑assisted development tools for coding, testing, and productivity enhancement.
• Knowledge of application monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, App Dynamics, Splunk, Grafana, or similar platforms.

• Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large‑scale planning for Software Engineering.
• Review and analyze complex multi‑faceted, larger scale or longer‑term Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors.
• Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi‑faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables.
• Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.
