Technology Lead - Hybrid

10 is currently seeking a Technology Lead - Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC, Pennington, NJ or Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This is a hands-on Technology Lead role for a pricing team. The ideal candidate will develop user interfaces using React or Angular and build integrations using Spring Boot and microservices. This position involves leading a team, mentoring junior and mid-level developers, reviewing code, and ensuring best practices are followed.

Responsibilities:

• Develop UI using React or Angular
• Design and build integrations using Spring Boot, Spring Integration DSL, messaging channels, transformers, gateways, and routing patterns
• Implement microservices, REST APIs, and Spring Batch Integrations for Data Ingestion
• Develop reusable integration components, standardized templates, and libraries to accelerate development
• Ensure code quality through robust unit testing, integration testing, and automated CI pipelines
• Design and deploy Spring Boot services in containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Work closely with Dev Ops teams to ensure proper CI/CD integration, container image standards, and deployment automation
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, business analysts, and QA to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Lead design discussions, participate in architectural reviews, and influence integration strategies
• Lead team as a senior engineer, mentor junior and mid-level developers, review code, and guide best practices
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including presenting designs and articulating trade-offs

Requirements:

• 15+ years of overall experience
• 10+ years of hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring Batch and the broader Spring ecosystem
• 8+ years of Spring Integration experience (channels, filters, routers, aggregators, transformers, etc.)
• 4+ years of React UI Development experience
• Strong experience with Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIP)
• Expertise with Docker, container image management, and Kubernetes-based deployments
• Strong Java development skills with a focus on scalable, resilient, and testable code
• Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, ActiveMQ, or JMS
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, Git Hub, etc.)
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities

Desired skills:

• Knowledge of JUnit, Mockito, Spring Test, Wire Mock, Test Containers
• Experience with logging/monitoring tools (Log4J, Splunk, etc.)
• Prior migration experience from Mule Soft or other ESB technologies to Spring-based integrations
• Experience with API gateway frameworks (Spring Cloud Gateway, APIM)
• Experience with distributed tracing and observability frameworks
• Oracle SQL / PLSQL

Pay range: $55.06 - $63.06 per hour
