We’re a bunch of hardworking, fun-loving, people-oriented technology enthusiasts. We love what we do, and we’re passionate about helping our clients thrive in an increasingly complex digital world. Zensar is an organization focused on building relationships with our clients and with each other—and happiness is at the core of everything we do. In fact, we’re so into happiness that we’ve created a Global Happiness Council, and we send out a Happiness Survey to our employees each year.
We’ve learned that employee happiness requires more than a competitive paycheck, and our employee value proposition—grow, own, achieve, learn (GOAL)—lays out the core opportunities we seek to foster for every employee. Teamwork and collaboration are critical to Zensar’s mission and success, and our teams work on a diverse and challenging mix of technologies across a broad industry spectrum. These industries include banking and financial services, high-tech and manufacturing, healthcare, insurance, retail, and consumer services.
Our employees enjoy flexible work arrangements and a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), among other benefits. If you are looking for a place to have an immediate impact, to grow and contribute, where we work hard, play hard, and support each other, consider joining team Zensar!
What is this role about?
Seeking a highly hands‑on QE Engagement Lead to drive quality validation for application modernization and migration initiatives involving Agentic AI .NET, Angular, AWS, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.
This is not a Test Manager role. The ideal candidate must be technically strong, capable of coding, reviewing automation, validating migrations, and leading client‑facing QE engagements.
Mandatory Skills (Non‑Negotiable)
Agentic AI in Quality Engineering
- Hands‑on experience building/customizing AI agents for test automation, test generation, defect triage, and impact analysis.
- Experience with tools such as Git Hub Copilot, Claude Code, Kiro, Cursor, or similar.
Playwright Automation
- Strong hands‑on experience building, debugging, and maintaining Playwright automation frameworks.
- Ability to solve real‑world automation challenges, not just provide high‑level guidance.
Data Migration Testing
- Proven experience validating migrations involving SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
- Expertise in source‑to‑target reconciliation, ETL validation, data quality checks, schema mapping, and functional parity testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the single point of contact for client QA leadership; own weekly reporting and the escalation path.
- Report status against evidence — execution logs, failure artefacts, coverage traceability — rather than self‑reported completion percentages.
- Manage scope and estimate conversations, including re‑confirming indicative timelines once the application estate has been inspected.
- Review the client’s existing automation framework, test organisation, governance and result‑tracking model, and produce an agreed hybrid approach that combines it with Zensar practices.
- Extend the client’s existing Azure Dev Ops pipeline rather than standing up a parallel one.
- Lead reverse engineering of application workflows, code, database objects and configuration into a structured knowledge base where documentation is missing or outdated.
- Establish coverage truth — assess the existing test estate against real business processes, identify duplicate, stale, orphaned and non‑executable cases, and quarantine flaky tests.
- Build and maintain requirement‑to‑test traceability, and drive a risk‑ranked gap list to closure.
- Own the pre‑migration baseline — full execution on the legacy platform, with results, configuration and data snapshots frozen.
- Lead post‑cutover parity validation —…
