Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Guidewire Policy Center Integration Developer to support a major customer information modernization initiative within the insurance industry.
As part of this initiative, the organization is transitioning from a legacy customer information platform to a new customer system. Several existing Guidewire Policy Center integrations currently retrieve customer information from the legacy platform and will need to be updated to integrate with the new customer data source.
The successful candidate will be responsible for modifying impacted Policy Center integrations and redirecting them to the new customer system. The engagement will initially focus on a key Policy Center integration, with additional integrations expected to follow as the modernization program progresses.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and modify integrations within Guidewire Policy Center
- Update existing Policy Center integrations to retrieve customer information from a new customer data source
- Develop and maintain integration components using Guidewire technologies and Gosu
- Work with Integration Gateway and Event Destinations
- Develop and support web service integrations using SOAP and REST
- Analyze existing integrations and identify required changes
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration-related issues
- Collaborate closely with technical teams, architects, and business stakeholders
- Ensure solutions align with Guidewire development standards and overall project requirements
- Work independently and contribute effectively with minimal supervision
- Strong hands-on experience with Guidewire Policy Center
, particularly configuration and integration development - Experience with Guidewire Integration Gateway
- Experience working with Event Destinations
- Strong experience with SOAP and REST web services
- Strong understanding of Guidewire Policy Center Policy and Customer domains
- Experience designing, developing, and troubleshooting enterprise system integrations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance
The ideal candidate is a seasoned Guidewire professional with strong Policy Center integration expertise who can quickly understand an existing environment, collaborate effectively with multiple teams, and contribute with minimal ramp-up.
