Front End Developer, Angular Developer

10 is currently seeking an Angular UI/UX Developer for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC or Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.
As part of a small, highly skilled team, this role is responsible for designing and delivering modern, responsive, and intuitive web applications. Collaborating closely with business users and product owners within an Agile framework, the developer will transform complex business requirements into engaging user interfaces for Treasury and Regulatory Reporting functions, enhancing business productivity and user satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive, high-performance web applications using Angular
- Collaborate with business users, product owners, and developers to gather requirements and translate them into intuitive user interfaces
- Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and interactive designs that improve user experience and business efficiency
- Develop reusable UI components, design systems, and shared libraries to promote consistency across applications
- Integrate Angular applications with RESTful APIs, GraphQL services, and backend microservices
- Optimize application performance, accessibility, responsiveness, and usability across devices and browsers
- Troubleshoot, debug, test, and enhance existing applications
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, design reviews, retrospectives, and daily standups
- Ensure front-end development aligns with enterprise security, accessibility, and coding standards
- Maintain high coding standards and continuously refactor existing code to improve maintainability, scalability, readability, and performance
Requirements:
- Strong expertise and hands-on experience developing enterprise applications using Angular (v12+)
- Proficiency in Type Script, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, and Responsive Web Design
- Experience implementing modern UI frameworks such as Angular Material, AG Grid, or similar component libraries
- Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles, user-centered design methodologies, and accessibility standards (WCAG)
- Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, and design specifications using tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or equivalent
- Experience integrating front-end applications with RESTful APIs, GraphQL services, and microservice-based architectures
- Knowledge of front-end performance optimization techniques and best practices
- Experience building data-intensive dashboards, analytics interfaces, and visualization solutions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to work directly with business stakeholders to understand complex requirements and rapidly prototype solutions
- Experience implementing state management frameworks such as NgRx, Signals, RxJS, or equivalent reactive patterns
- Experience using Git-based source control and collaborative development workflows
- Ability to maintain high-quality code standards through code reviews, refactoring, and adherence to established UI development best practices
Desired skills:
- Experience working on Treasury, Risk, Regulatory Reporting, or Financial Services applications
- Experience developing dashboards and reporting interfaces using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Highcharts, D3.js, Chart.js, or ECharts
- Experience designing workflow-driven applications involving approvals, operational controls, and data governance processes
- Experience building reusable design systems and enterprise component libraries
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Azure Dev Ops, Git Hub Actions, or similar deployment frameworks
- Experience working with Docker, Kubernetes, or containerized environments
- Familiarity with GraphQL, API-driven architectures, and cloud-hosted applications
- Experience developing high-volume, high-availability enterprise applications
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams
- Knowledge of Treasury and Liquidity Reporting concepts such as LCR, NSFR, FR2052a, ALMM, PRA
110, Fed 5G, or related regulatory frameworks is highly desirable
Pay range: $58.26 - $66.26 per hour
