We are seeking a Senior Solution Architect to translate business initiatives into scalable enterprise application designs and technical roadmaps. The role is primarily design-focused and will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and delivery teams to define solutions for enterprise projects. Candidates with strong senior-level Java development experience may also be considered, provided they have experience collaborating with architects, can demonstrate strong communication skills, and can clearly explain complex technical concepts and past project decisions to business stakeholders.

• Gather and analyze business and functional requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Design enterprise application architectures aligned with business objectives and technical standards.
• Produce technical specifications, solution diagrams, architecture documentation, and design artifacts.
• Define and promote development standards, architectural guidelines, and best practices.
• Evaluate integration requirements, system dependencies, interfaces, and architectural impacts.
• Review technical implementations and provide architectural oversight and guidance to development teams.
• Lead and facilitate technical design discussions with architects, developers, stakeholders, and delivery teams.
• Support project planning activities in collaboration with delivery leadership.
• Guide application modernization initiatives and strategic technology decisions.
• Communicate complex technical concepts, risks, and solutions clearly to business and non-technical stakeholders.

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, ideally 10+ years.
• Extensive experience with Spring Boot.
• Experience with API and integration architecture.
• Demonstrated experience collaborating with enterprise or solution architects on technical designs.
• Strong technical documentation and architecture diagramming skills.
• Experience leading technical design efforts and providing architectural guidance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to explain highly technical problems and solutions clearly to business-facing teams.
• Ability to provide detailed examples of past projects, technical decisions, and complex problems addressed.

• Experience with Angular.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and/or MySQL.
• Experience with Hadoop.
• Experience with Azure services.
• Experience with event-driven architecture.
