Application Programmer

10 is currently seeking an Angular JavaScript and Java Developer for a hybrid contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite.

The Angular JavaScript and Java Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade applications using Angular JS and Java frameworks. This role involves building the User Interface, integrating with backend APIs, and ensuring high performance and security of applications.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain responsive web applications using modern frameworks and technologies
• Develop user interfaces with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices
• Implement server-side logic using Node.js, Java, .NET, or Python, and manage APIs (REST/GraphQL)
• Design and optimize relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and/or No
  
  SQL (MongoDB) databases
• Connect front-end and back-end systems, ensuring secure and efficient data flow
• Write unit and integration tests, troubleshoot issues, and ensure code quality
• Optimize application performance and scalability
• Implement security best practices (OAuth2, JWT, SSL/TLS)
• Ensure code quality through static analysis and peer reviews
• Package and deploy applications using Maven/Gradle
• Collaborate with Dev Ops teams for CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Work closely with architects, product owners, and QA teams
• Participate in design discussions and provide technical guidance

Requirements:

• Experience building and maintaining responsive web applications using modern frameworks and technologies
• Experience developing user interfaces with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices
• Experience implementing server-side logic using Node.js, Java, .NET, or Python, and managing APIs (REST/GraphQL)
• Experience designing and optimizing relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and/or No
  
  SQL (MongoDB) databases
• Experience with unit and integration testing, troubleshooting, and ensuring code quality
• Knowledge of application performance optimization and scalability
• Understanding of security best practices (OAuth2, JWT, SSL/TLS)
• Experience with code quality through static analysis and peer reviews
• Experience packaging and deploying applications using Maven/Gradle
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

Desired skills:

• Bachelor's Degree in a technical field

Pay range: $55.06 - $63.06 per hour
