Senior Living - Fitness Substitute Instructor

Torch Fitness by Valet Living is looking for fitness professionals to SUB at a luxury, senior living apartment community (Sage Highland Creek 9246 Highland Creek Pkwy Charlotte 28269). This individual will be part of a quickly expanding team focused on growth and delivering a consistent high-quality service to members within the community.

Seeking individuals comfortable interacting and teaching a variety of group fitness classes to the residents of the community with a passion for helping others meet their fitness goals.

• Substitute teach only, with 24-48 hours notice, weekdays between 9-11am
• Earn $40 per class
• Travel up to 10 miles from home
• Lead 45 minute classes with 8-15 students
• Travel to and from the community is required in addition to checking and attendance tracking using our software system

• Liability insurance (required)
• Experience in designing and implementing fitness programs and classes
• Current CPR and AED certification, college degree, or fitness certification (preferred)

• Clock-in/clock-out and sign-off training sessions using our software
• Continually monitor and assist members to ensure proper form is used when performing exercises during classes
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance
• Lead and motivate clients safely throughout classes
• Practice what you preach. Live a lifestyle similar to the way you want clients to live theirs
• Modify specific exercises to accommodate various skill levels and/or physical ailments
• Be a fitness leader in the community
• Build your book and brand yourself for success

Salary: $40 per visit
