If you've reached the pinnacle of competitive athletics—Olympian, World Champion, NCAA D1 First Team All‑American—you understand what it takes to perform under pressure. The question is: can you convert that experience into structured coaching methods that elevate students to their full potential?
At Texas Sports Academy, your role is not ceremonial. You will be immersed daily in the work of building champions—actively coaching, challenging students, and driving them toward measurable growth. Your credibility won't come from stories alone. You'll apply elite‑level discipline to design motivational systems, facilitate hands‑on resilience training, and lead intensive practices where every participant is held accountable to championship expectations.
Austin provides year‑round outdoor access, a dynamic sports ecosystem, and a mission‑oriented environment where your competitive background becomes the blueprint for developing future leaders.
Coach with intention. Lead through action. Apply today.
What You Will Be Doing- Conducting targeted 1:1 coaching sessions where you convert your competitive experience into precise, actionable strategies for student development.
- Delivering high‑impact morning assemblies that energize and focus the entire student community.
- Leading interactive life‑skills workshops where you coach students directly through exercises in resilience, leadership, and goal execution.
- Directing structured athletic training sessions that embody championship principles: creating drills, demanding effort, refining technique, and instilling grit and collaboration through sport (not passive supervision).
- Maintaining active engagement with all students throughout each day: moving through independent study periods, intervening to motivate when progress stalls, and identifying moments that create breakthroughs in mindset.
- Operating as a passive figurehead: this role demands full, hands‑on involvement. You will be on the ground, leading sessions, engaging directly with students, and making real‑time coaching decisions.
- Delivering conventional academic instruction or adhering to set curricula: students use adaptive learning technology for academics. Your focus is motivational coaching, life‑skill development, and teaching meta‑competencies through athletics and mentorship.
- Former elite‑level competitors who have excelled at the highest tier of sport — Olympic athletes, World Champions, professional athletes from the NFL, NBA, MLB, MLS, or NHL, or NCAA Division I All‑Americans.
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Documented experience applying sport as a vehicle for mentoring and developing life skills.
- Proven track record of motivational leadership within athletic, academic, or professional contexts.
- Authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.
- Ability and willingness to reside in or relocate to Austin, TX.
Texas Sports Academy is where future champions excel in academics and athletics. Traditional schools force student‑athletes to choose between excelling in academics or committing to their sport. Texas Sports Academy eliminates that trade‑off.
Their innovative K‑8 model, based in Austin, TX, uses AI‑driven learning to accelerate academics, allowing students to master core subjects in just two hours a day.
The rest of their day is dedicated to athletic training, skill‑building, and personal development—so students excel in both their studies and their sport.
By integrating advanced educational technology with structured sports training, they provide a unique learning experience that builds discipline, leadership, and resilience.
It’s academics and athletics in perfect sync.
