Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Account Specialist who will combine customer service, account management, and logistics expertise to handle clients’ transportation and shipping needs. He/she will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients , managing orders, resolving issues and ensuring efficient and cost-effective logistics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will…..

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their needs and expectations.
  • Enter, process and track freight orders ensuring accurate and timely shipping and receiving of items.
  • Address customer inquiries, resolve issues related to shipping and receiving orders and provide solutions to ensure client satisfaction, and help to clear any roadblocks that may arise.
  • Understand logistics processes, such as: transportation, warehousing and inventory management.
  • Communicate with customers clearly and professionally, and provide updates on their orders, shipments and other relevant information.
  • Maintain accurate records and provide feedback to management.
  • Collaborate with the Operations team to understand customers’ needs and support their efforts.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and, help to streamline processes for better customer service.

Skills

  • Strong client services orientation with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and Cadence or a similar platform for data entry .
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on delivering positive experiences.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate data and provide actionable insights.
  • Ability to type efficiently while maintaining accuracy during data entry tasks.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent with at least two (2) years of experience in a customer service or administrative role in warehouse setting.

Pay:From $20.00 per hour
