Logistics Specialist

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to support day-to-day transportation and logistics operations. In this role, you’ll handle order entry, routing and dispatching, and traffic coordination while working closely with account managers, drivers, and customers. What You’ll Do

• Maintain and update customer profile information
• Enter loads from customer tenders accurately and on time
• Monitor daily pickups and deliveries to ensure on-time and in-good-condition arrivals
• Communicate load status updates to account managers, customers, and receivers
• Take check calls from drivers and confirm delivery timelines
• Validate load data prior to marking loads delivered for accounting purposes
• Investigate overages, shortages, and damages, completing all required documentation
• Schedule and reschedule delivery appointments as needed
• Accept or decline loads based on direction from account managers
• Provide drivers with clear routing directions and delivery instructions

What We’re Looking For

• General knowledge of the transportation or logistics industry
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience writing routine reports and correspondence
• Ability to apply common-sense reasoning to follow written, verbal, or diagram-based instructions
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
