Dispatcher - Night Shift

Dispatcher. Full-time:
Night Shift, 1:00am – 10:00am.

Location:

Charlotte, NC.

The scope of this position is to be responsible for dispatching units to pickup and delivery freight, monitoring the performance of drivers and to ensure customer timelines are adhered to.

• Scheduling drivers pick-ups and deliveries
• Uploading and setting up of scanners
• Maintain communication with PDC Supervisor for status reports on correct loading by unit and timely departures.
• Ensure driver concerns reported into dispatch are responded to and closed off within reasonable or expected timelines.

• Transportation background in dispatch or dock supervision is ideal
• Computer literate in Excel and Word
• High School graduate or equivalent
