Who You AreEnsure the timely and safe delivery of floral arrangements, plants, and gift items to our customers.
What You'll Do- Safely operate company-owned vehicles to transport merchandise to and from the flower shop and customer locations
- Load and unload merchandise, ensuring that all items are securely packaged and protected during transport
- Confirm delivery details with customers, including the delivery address, date, and time
- Collect payment for orders when necessary, and ensure that all transactions are accurately recorded
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery confirmations and any customer feedback
- Assist with flower shop duties when not making deliveries, including helping customers with purchases and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the store
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Experience driving commercial vehicles preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with local roads and traffic patterns
- Customer service-oriented approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Available to work upto 28 hours a week
- Familiarity with the floral industry and customer service experience is a plus
- Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy objects up to 50 pounds. They must also be able to sit for extended periods of time while driving
- The driver will be required to work both indoors and outdoors, in various weather conditions. They will spend a significant amount of time driving and may be required to lift and carry heavy objects
