JobOverview
We are looking for an energetic, reliable, and customer-focused Junk Removal Specialist to join our team. In this role, you won’t just be hauling heavy items; you will be the face of our company. You will work in teams of two to navigate our truck, provide on-site quotes, safely remove unwanted items from residential and commercial properties, and ensure items are disposed of, recycled, or donated properly.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Lifting & Hauling:
Safely lift, carry, and load heavy or bulky items (such as furniture, appliances, electronics, construction debris, and yard waste) from customer properties into the company truck. - Customer Service:
Greet customers with a friendly attitude, assist in providing accurate on-site estimates, and ensure complete customer satisfaction before leaving the site. - Truck Operations:
Safely assist with maneuvering our truck to and from job sites, disposal stations, and donation centers. - Eco-Friendly Sorting:
Sort collected items to maximize recycling, repurposing, and donation opportunities, keeping as much waste out of landfills as possible. - Team
Collaboration:
Work efficiently with your truck partner to map out routes, load vehicles strategically, and maintain a safe workspace.
- Physical Stamina:
Ability to repeatedly lift 75+ lbs throughout the day, and continuously bend, kneel, walk, and climb stairs. Partner lifting for larger bulky items. - Able to perform work in all weather conditions.
- Clean Driving Record: A valid standard driver’s license with a clean driving record (No CDL required, though experience driving large vehicles or box trucks is a major plus).
- Communication
Skills:
Strong verbal skills to interact comfortably with customers and handle basic digital payment/invoice apps. - Reliability:
Punctual, dependable, and possesses a strong work ethic. - Background Check:
Must be able to pass a standard background check. - Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred but not required.
- Your own transportation is required to meet at jobsites or yards.
- Competitive Pay
- Keep Your Tips:
Daily cash tips and performance-based bonuses. - Active Work Environment:
Keep fit on the job instead of sitting behind a desk or counter all day. - Flexible Scheduling
- Career Growth:
Opportunities to move into Team Lead, Truck Captain, or Operations Manager roles.
