Longer average miles and an eastern operating area give Class A CDL Drivers the opportunity to build strong weekly pay while running a predictable OTR schedule. LEM Trucking is hiring a CDL A Truck Driver in Charlotte for a position averaging $1,400 to $1,900 per week with approximately 3,000 miles and home time every other weekend.

Drivers operate throughout the eastern portion of the country while staying east of Texas. There are no New York City deliveries. The schedule is designed around two weeks of productive driving followed by a 48 hour reset at home every other weekend.

Approximately 95 percent of scheduled home resets are met on time, giving drivers greater consistency when planning their time away from the truck.

Pay is based on verified driving experience, with weekly earnings typically ranging from $1,400 to $1,900.

Freight is 100 percent no touch for the driver and consists of a combination of drop and hook and live load or unload customers. Class A CDL Drivers average approximately 3,000 miles each week.

Instead of relying on a traditional dispatch structure, drivers have access to driver advocates 24 hours a day when assistance is needed. Technology is also used to simplify load assignments. When ready for another load, drivers can scan through the company app to begin the next load process.

Drivers are assigned 2021 or newer Kenworth or Freightliner tractors. Equipment includes an APU, inverter, refrigerator, TV mount, and microwave mount, providing the essentials needed for an every other weekend schedule.

Orientation lasts three days and is paid. The company covers orientation expenses and provides each driver with a private hotel room during the process.

Applicants must have a valid Class A CDL and at least 3 months of Class A tractor trailer driving experience within the previous 36 months. Drivers must also meet applicable DOT qualification and safety requirements.
