Warehouse Specialist
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Warehouse Associate to support warehouse operations in a rapidly growing facility. This role is responsible for receiving incoming containers, processing serialized units, preparing shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting pallet building for specialized deliveries. As inventory volume is expected to double this year, this individual must thrive in a hands‑on, fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities- Unload containers on arrival, including last‑minute arrivals near month‑end.
- Test incoming refrigeration/freezer units and verify temperature functionality.
- Re-box, label, and prepare units for shipment after testing.
- Maintain a $0 shippable backlog at month‑end by ensuring all scannable/shippable items are processed.
- Use Android‑based scanning devices to track serialized inventory, apply company‑specific labels, and update inventory records.
- Assist with organizing warehouse layout, storage, and ongoing SOP creation.
- Operate both sit‑down Hyster and Crown stand‑up forklifts, following strict safety procedures.
- Build and modify pallets for premium white‑glove deliveries.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and daily warehouse upkeep.
- Work collaboratively with a small team and support shifting priorities to ensure efficient, accurate, and timely warehouse operations.
- Valid forklift certification (stand‑up forklift preferred).
- Hands‑on warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, or inventory.
- Ability to lift and move heavy units safely.
- Experience with scanning devices or inventory systems.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety standards.
Skills & Qualifications
- Woodworking or pallet building experience with tools like table saws and power saws.
- Experience in logistics, manufacturing, inventory control, or material handling.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charlotte, NC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $27.00/hr.
