The Warehouse Specialist role is critical to our warehouse's smooth and efficient functioning. This role involves receiving, storing, and distributing products while ensuring accurate inventory control and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Roles and ResponsibilitiesReceiving and Inspection
- Receive incoming shipments and verify the accuracy of orders.
- Inspect goods for quality, damage, and compliance with specifications.
- Document and report any discrepancies or issues.
- Properly store goods in designated locations within the warehouse.
- Ensure that inventory is organized, labeled, and accessible.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Regularly update and maintain inventory records using inventory management software (Net Suite).
- Conduct cycle counts and periodic stock checks to maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Monitor inventory levels and reorder products as needed.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including picking and packing products.
- Ensure that orders are accurately filled and packaged.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers and schedule pickups.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure products meet established standards.
- Handle returns and process them under company policies.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure all team members follow safety guidelines.
- Comply with regulatory and company‑specific standards.
- Collaborate with other warehouse staff and management to optimize operations.
- Communicate any issues, delays, or concerns promptly.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Knowledge of inventory software and basic computer skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and maintaining a safe work environment.
- Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Physical Requirements- Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
