Role and Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping
- Supervise, train, schedule, and evaluate warehouse staff
- Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts and audits
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and OSHA standards
- Optimize warehouse layout, workflows, and labor utilization to improve efficiency
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and customer service teams
- Monitor KPIs such as order accuracy, on-time shipments, and inventory turnover
- Oversee equipment maintenance and facility cleanliness
- Resolve operational issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Prepare reports on inventory levels, staffing, and performance metrics
- Other duties as assigned by the Company from time to time
- Requires High School Diploma or Equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred
- Strong experience in a warehouse environment
- Prior supervisory or management experience required
- Proficiency with Microsoft office and warehouse software (WMS/ERP)
- Solid understanding of warehouse safety standards and best practices
- Familiarity with shipping, receiving, and logistics processes
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication
- Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Must successfully pass a background check and drug test.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.
- Physical Demands:
Constant sitting, walking short distances, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching above and/or below shoulder, handling/grasping documents or office equipment, clear speaking and adequate hearing sufficient to communicate effectively and respond appropriately in-person and/or on the telephone, vision sufficient to read source materials and computer screen data, repetitive motions for computer equipment use, lift 50 lbs. occasionally, 5-10 lbs. frequently to lift/carry/move objects, files and documents.
