Opportunity:
Direct Hire
Compensation: $23 -$25/hour
Location:
Charlotte, NC
Schedule:
Monday - Friday 8am-5pm (occasional overtime)
Responsibilities:
* Prepare, package, label, and ship outgoing customer orders and materials
* Receive incoming packages, supplies, freight and materials
* Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against orders, packing slips, invoices or other documentation
* Inspect shipments for accuracy, damage, shortages, or discrepancies and report issues as needed
* Enter shipping, receiving, and inventory information accurately in the computer system
* Prepare and maintain shipping records, labels, bills of lading and other required paperwork
* Coordinate with carriers, drivers, vendors, and internal departments to support timely deliveries and shipments
* Move, organize, stock, and stage materials in the warehouse as needed
* Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and maintaining accurate stock levels
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shipping, receiving, and warehouse area
Qualifications:
* Basic or intermediate computer skills
* Ability to accurately enter information and maintain records
* Ability to communicate with carriers, vendors, drivers, and coworkers in a professional manner
* Must be fluent in English
* Must be able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
* Must follow company safety procedures
* Certified to operate a forklift or willing to become certified
* Lift requirement up to 50 pounds
