Pharmacy Clerk/Warehouse Worker – 2nd Shift

Schedule:

Full-Time (40 hours per week)

Work Hours:

Sunday–Thursday, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM EST Mandatory overtime and occasional weekend work may be required based on business needs

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and production-focused Warehouse Worker to support pharmacy warehouse and inventory operations in a fast-paced environment. The Warehouse Worker will assist with inventory management, order processing, packing and shipping, and maintaining proper storage of medications and supplies. The ideal candidate will have production, warehouse, or packing experience and demonstrate strong attendance, attention to detail, and a commitment to accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily warehouse and inventory activities while following established procedures and safety requirements.
  • Properly store medications, supplies, and temperature-sensitive products according to established guidelines.
  • Prepare boxes and packaging materials for daily pharmacy operations.
  • Create, replace, and correct shipping labels as needed.
  • Transport completed packages to shipping, mail, and courier areas.
  • Monitor prescription drug inventory using pharmacy computer systems.
  • Receive incoming inventory and verify that products are accurately received and documented.
  • Assist with investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain appropriate storage and organization of prescription drug inventory.
  • Perform cycle counts and other inventory control activities.
  • Complete order processing and ensure inventory records remain accurate.
  • Process, pack, and ship outgoing pharmacy orders, ensuring medications, supplies, and required patient educational materials are included.
  • Assist with maintaining an organized, clean, and efficient warehouse environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by pharmacy or warehouse leadership.
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous warehouse, production, packing, fulfillment, or distribution experience preferred.
  • No specific number of years of experience required.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn pharmacy inventory systems.

  • Previous experience in a pharmacy, healthcare, fulfillment, or mail-order environment is a plus.
