Seasonal Warehouse Operations Manager – Charlotte

• Work side by side with employees and volunteers to take the love of Jesus to children all around the world.
• Train, oversee, and coach a diverse but unified team of volunteers.
• Manage operations vital to the processing of over 10 million shoebox gifts.
• Assist in the set-up and tear-down of the processing center.
• Apply general technology/computer skills.

This is a full-time seasonal commitment (40+ hours per week, including Saturdays) from mid-November through mid-December. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, possess previous management experience, and have a heart to serve in a hands‑on ministry. Screening requirements include a social media review, pastoral and professional references, and a criminal background check (upon acceptance of the offer).

Manages the teams and operations that support the processing of shoebox gifts and ensures an optimum level of quality control. Requires warehouse experience, organizational skills, multitasking ability, computer/technology competency, and a servant‑leader attitude.

Oversees volunteer registration and engages a high volume of volunteers. Requires strong leadership, ability to inspire coaches, and proficient computer skills.

Oversees processing, trains and coaches volunteers, ensuring efficient processing and excellent volunteer experience. Requires a servant‑leader heart, ability to manage a large team, excellent organizational skills, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Manages outbound shipments, schedules container loading, and completes shipping paperwork. Requires leadership, computer/technology competency, and ability to train a seasonal team. Shipping and operations knowledge preferred.

Oversees inbound shipments, unloading, tracking, storage, and movement of shoeboxes into processing area. Requires leadership, basic computer/technology competency, and ability to train a seasonal team. Receiving and operations knowledge preferred.

Collaborates with Shipping and Receiving Managers to manage inventory flow and maintain quality control. Requires leadership, computer/technology competency, and ability to train a seasonal team. Inventory management knowledge preferred.

Supports technology operations during processing season: sets up and maintains scanners, printers, and other equipment, troubleshoots hardware and software issues, assists staff and volunteers. Requires organizational skills, computer/technology competency, multitasking in fast‑paced environment, and servant‑hearted approach.

Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour
